Are you hiring?
General hiring information for Buffalo State University can be found here. If you are interested in working with us at the Performing Arts Center, please send us your information at rockwellboxoffice@buffalostate.edu.
How can I rent out the Performing Arts Center?
The PAC is available to rent for concerts and events. Please start your journey here, and e-mail us with any further questions.
How do I find out about upcoming shows?
We don’t send out much mail anymore. The best way to find out about upcoming events is to sign up for our newsletter here. We also use Facebook and Instagram.
What is the best way to buy tickets?
To buy online, our website is buffalostatepac.org. Our official ticketing partner is Etix. You can buy tickets for our events in person or over the phone (716-878-3005) from Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4pm. There is a flat $5.00 fee per transaction for sales over the phone. We will also be open in person one hour before events and during the first part of the show. If you choose to buy tickets from a resale website, we may not be able to assist you should issues arise.
What is your refund policy?
All ticket sales are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Before purchasing tickets, it is your responsibility to carefully review your seat location, event, and performance date. In the event a performance is cancelled or postponed, instructions will be made available to ticketholders as soon as available.
In regards to inclement weather, changes will be announced on our website and social media channels. For ticketed performances, tickets will not be refunded if the performance is held as scheduled. If you are driving in for a show during the winter, please advise for weather in the Buffalo and Kenmore area.
Where are my tickets?
What is the parking situation?
Event parking is free and open in any faculty, staff, student, or metered lot on campus during events.
Our address is 1300 Elmwood Ave. if you are looking up directions. We’re on the corner of Elmwood and Rockwell Road.
Parking during the week to come in to buy tickets is subject to rates set by the Parking Services office. If you don’t mind a walk, there is short term parking available on the other side of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, on the edge of Delaware Park.
How accessible is your venue?
Wheelchair users can enter the building from the Iroquois Drive side of Rockwell Hall so that they can take advantage of the elevator up to the second level. To buy wheelchair accessible tickets, please submit the Seating Accommodations Request (look for “Purchase Accessible Seats”) on the proper event page. We do this so that folks who don’t need these seats buy them by mistake.
More information can be found here. If you think there is something we don’t have covered, please let us know how we can help you enjoy your experience here.
Can I bring my bag in with me?
Small bags and purses are allowed. Backpacks are not. Medical items are allowed, of course. All bags are subject to search by University Police.
Can I bring in food and drinks?
Besides water in a sealed container, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the hall. We do serve drinks and snacks before shows. Please call us the day of the show if you have particular questions.
Can I bring in my camera?
Flash photography is not allowed but we do allow small personal cameras. No cameras with detachable lenses are allowed. Camera use may be restricted or prohibited on a per-show basis.
What items are prohibited?
- Animals that are not service animals
- Any alcohol or drugs, including electronic cigarettes
- Bags larger than 12″x12″
- Glass containers
- Professional recording equipment
- Large banners, flags, signs on sticks
- Laser pointers
- Outside food and drink

Will I be allowed to re-enter if I leave?
For most events, we do allow reentry. Please keep your ticket on your person if you have to step out. When in effect, you may be required to pass through security check points again.
Do you have a "Lost and Found?"
Any items found during/after events usually end up at our Box Office in Rockwell Hall. If you think you left something in the hall or in the building, please let us know as soon as you are able to. We’ll likely ask for a description of the item(s) along with your ticket information. Some items do get turned into UPD.
