I Am Not Invisible takes audiences into the hidden world of trafficking victims and their quest for freedom. It is a journey that is emotionally rich, musically inspiring and visually captivating. The performance is also an invitation to become a freedom fighter, to join in the fight against human trafficking. Human Trafficking is real, it is happening in our community, and it can happen to anyone. Join us for an evening of great performances delivered by Lorna C. Hill, Kathleen Betsko Yale, Verneice Turner, vonetta t. rhodes, Melinda Capeles, Brandon Williamson, Samantha Cruz, Gunilla Kester, Venecia"Goodne$$" Green, Dayatra Hassan, Dewel “Dee” Perez, Sara Rogers and Joy Scime. Typography of Women is made possible in part with support from The MAP Fund, supported by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation,  the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Chair, Erie County Legislature, April Baskin, The Buffalo Project and Rigidized Metals.

Typography of Women: I Am Not Invisible is a project to support the fight against Human Trafficking. It promotes awareness about Project Mona’s House, which is a transitional residence for women who have escaped trafficking and are trying to rebuild their lives. It is the only such facility in Western New York.  However, Typography of Women is also meant to be a vehicle that shares information on the ways we, as a community, can do our part to deter human trafficking in our region. Everyone is invited and welcome to join the fight against this crime inflicted on humanity.
